About the Event

The 6th Charity Relay Marathon, hosted by the MDRT Japan Association, is held at MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) in Shinjuku. The main event is a 3-hour relay marathon for elementary school students and up, with teams of 4 to 15 people. There is also a 1.4 km fun run for children in grades 4 to 6 and a 1.4 km parent-and-child run for children in grade 3 or below with a parent.
The charity amount depends on the distance run. Donations go to the Hokkaido Guide Dog Association, Peace Winds Japan and Sorapuchi Kids Camp. The day also features extra entertainment programs, event ambassadors cheering on runners, and charity T-shirts sold in four colors.
