7. Hochhausmarathon in Köln-Chorweiler

About the Event

On September 19, 2026, the seventh edition of the Cologne-Chorweiler High-Rise Marathon will take place. This unique race challenges participants to climb 373 steps up the Sahle Wohnen high-rise at Florenzer Straße 32 in Köln-Chorweiler. The event welcomes runners from all walks of life, including children, teenagers, adults, and individuals with disabilities, alongside top towerrunning athletes and firefighters wearing full protective gear.
The race starts with staggered waves for different age groups and skill levels to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. As participants ascend the building's staircase, they will encounter an exhilarating mix of physical challenge and camaraderie among fellow climbers.
