7th Annual WINDSOR WILD TURKEY 5K and Kids Fun Run 2026

About the Event

Experience an unforgettable 5k run or walk through scenic Marsh Creek State Park on Thanksgiving morning. This family-friendly event features mostly packed gravel and road paths, with sections of dirt and grass for added variety. The route winds along the lakeside, offering picturesque views while challenging runners with gentle hills.
Participants can sign up individually or form teams to compete in various categories. Individual awards are given based on top times, while team prizes go to the largest group, highest fundraising team, and most spirited costume-wearing participants. All proceeds from this event support the Windsor Christian Academy Classroom Building Campaign.
For younger runners, a one-mile kids race awaits on packed dirt and grass paths within the park. The atmosphere is lively with vendors offering refreshments and custom bakery pies in a raffle draw for all racers. Racegoers will receive wicking-style shirts to commemorate their participation.
