8th Annual Heroes for Autism 5K and 1 Mile

Join the Freddie Ford Family Foundation's Annual Heroes for Autism event, a vibrant celebration of community and support. This family-friendly 5K run and one-mile fun run takes place on a picturesque course that winds through scenic parks and bustling neighborhoods. Participants are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero, adding an extra layer of excitement and color to the day.
The race offers something for everyone—runners and walkers alike can enjoy the event's inclusive atmosphere, which caters to all ages and abilities. The route is designed with both seasoned athletes and casual participants in mind, ensuring a memorable experience for every participant.
On race day, families will be welcomed by a variety of engaging activities, including live music, an exciting bounce house, and numerous vendors offering delicious food and refreshments. These amenities are available to support the event's donation-based model.
Early bird registration is now open at $35 for the 5K and $25 for the one-mile run. Kids aged 11 and under can participate in the fun run with a paid adult, all while supervised on-site. As of May 1st, these fees will increase to $45 for the 5K and $35 for the mile.
To make it even more cost-effective, register five or more people at once and enjoy a per-person discount of $10! This family discount applies only if all participants are registered in one transaction.
