Bad Ischler RE/MAX VOIGAS17, the second installment of our beloved Badische Laeufe series, promises an exhilarating trail running experience for all levels. Scheduled for Saturday, August 2, 2025, this event offers runners a scenic route through the heart of Austria's Salzkammergut region.
Participants can choose between two distances: the VOIGAS17 covering approximately 17 kilometers with over 900 meters of elevation gain and the shorter VOIGAS5 at around 5.6 kilometers with about 310 meters of ascent. Both courses wind through picturesque landscapes, offering breathtaking views of alpine meadows and dense forests.
The event starts and finishes in the lively "Pernecker Kellerfest" area where runners can enjoy a festive atmosphere before setting off on their journey or celebrating their achievements afterward. The VOIGAS17 is particularly challenging due to its steep ascents and rugged terrain, making it an ideal destination for seasoned trail runners looking to test their limits.
This year's event also marks the introduction of Bad Ischler RE/MAX VOIGAS17 as a part of the prestigious Bergzeit Trail Youngsters Cup 2025. Joining other renowned trails like the Lindkogeltrail, Innsbruck Alpine Race, and Mayrhofen Ultraks, this partnership underscores the significance of our trail running community.
