About the Event

The 90th Sloterplasloop returns on Sunday, October 11, 2026, continuing the tradition of offering running and walking options for all ages. This year's edition builds upon last year’s success by once again featuring a kidsrun of 750 meters designed specifically for children aged six years or younger.
Participants can register until October 10, 2026, with mandatory fields marked on the registration form to ensure smooth entry into the event. The Sloterplasloop is committed to providing clear and fair terms available at www.sloterplasloop.nl/voorwaarden for all registrants to review.
The race offers a variety of distances suitable for different levels of runners:
- A 750-meter kidsrun (€3) for the youngest participants.
- A 1.5-kilometer kidsrun (€4) for children aged seven to twelve years old.
- A 5-kilometer run, with reduced entry fees for members of Atletiek Unie at €10 compared to €11 for non-members.
- A 10-kilometer race also offers a discount for AU members at €12.50 versus €13.50 for others.
In addition to the running events, there is a walking tour option available (€6) and participants can sign up as part of a team through a dedicated form on the website. For those looking to improve their skills or prepare for future races, a training course is also offered at €90. Participants have the opportunity to choose their preferred race distance first before opting into the course during registration.
The event concludes with an optional hardloopshirt purchase (€25) that can be added through the same form.
With its scenic route around Sloterplas and engaging activities for children, this year’s Sloterplasloop promises a memorable experience for runners of all ages.
