The Rustic Run of Morungava, hosted by NaturalFit Gravataí, returns for its ninth edition on November 8, 2026, promising an atmosphere filled with vibrant energy and unique attractions. This year’s race continues the tradition of offering a variety of distances for trail runners and walkers, including a short trail run (6 to 8km), medium distance (11 to 14km), long distance (18 to 24km), and a scenic walking route of 3km. The event takes place in Prainha de Morungava, where participants will navigate through unpaved roads, trails, fields, and natural landscapes. The course features diverse terrain with sections that may include wetlands, boardwalks over water, and various other natural obstacles. While the majority of the route remains off-road, up to 20% can be on asphalt for brief stretches. Registration kits will be available at the event venue from Saturday (November 7) or Sunday morning (8am-8:50am). The race starts promptly at 9:00 am with staggered start times for different categories. A family-friendly atmosphere is ensured by a kids' run and activities planned throughout the day, culminating in prize-giving ceremonies at noon. In addition to the competitive spirit on display during races, Morungava’s Prainha offers visitors an organic market fair and live music performances. The venue includes facilities such as restrooms with showers, food stalls serving snacks and meals, a designated tent area for supporters, and paid parking spaces within the beach complex. This event is not just about running; it's an immersive experience in nature that celebrates community spirit and local culture.
