Nestled along the scenic Lake Wales Ridge, this race runs along gently rolling, hard-packed red clay roads that wind through active and historic former citrus groves—offering breathtaking views and a true taste of Old Florida. Whether you're tackling the Half Marathon, sprinting through the 10K, cruising the 5K, or taking on the ultimate 15K Orange Blossom Challenge (10K + 5K), there’s a race for every runner. About Frostproof

Frostproof is a small town in southeastern Polk County, Florida. The town's name was coined as a marketing ploy to convince potential homesteaders that the town had never and would never see a frost. This turned out to be untrue, as the town did sustain relatively minor damage during an 1894 frost that destroyed much of Florida's citrus crops.
