About the Event

Experience the thrill of Eureka Enduro, set for September 27-28, 2026, as part of the Arkansas Enduro Series. This vibrant weekend race takes place amidst the picturesque beauty and rich history of Eureka Springs, known locally as "The Little Switzerland of the Ozarks." The event combines mountain biking with a family-friendly atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for both seasoned riders and newcomers.
Elevate your riding experience in Lake Leatherwood City Park, featuring over 25 miles of trails that wind through scenic landscapes. This venue offers a mix of natural terrain challenges and well-marked courses, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride. Pre-race practice times are available to help you get familiar with the course.
The event kicks off on Friday evening with early pre-riding opportunities before official check-in opens at 4 PM. Race day begins bright and early on Saturday morning with registration from 9 AM to 3 PM, followed by a thrilling race that concludes with podium awards in the afternoon.
Eureka Springs Fat Tire Festival, held concurrently, adds an extra layer of excitement with its three-day celebration filled with live music, food trucks, and other family-friendly activities.
After your intense ride, savor complimentary post-race meals and cold beverages in a welcoming festival setting (21+ for adult drinks). The event also features professional timing to the 1000th second, ensuring accurate results are available instantly. Awards ceremonies will celebrate top performers across various categories with prizes given out deeply.
For your stay, Eureka Springs offers an array of lodging options—from cozy cabins and RV sites to hotels packed with amenities or quiet retreats in nature. Explore local eateries serving everything from rustic cave dining to award-winning craft beverages.
Safety is paramount at the event; helmets are mandatory for all riders during official race times, and it's recommended you wear full-face protection along with knee and elbow pads. The weather in August can be hot and humid, so plan accordingly by carrying plenty of water and snacks.
Elevate your Eureka Enduro weekend experience through proper preparation. Don't forget bug spray, sunscreen, spare tubes, a pump or CO2, patches, and other essential parts for the ride. Dogs are welcome but must remain on leashes at all times.
Remember to respect the environment by packing out what you pack in. The race venue provides 1600 acres of Lake Leatherwood City Park with various amenities including cabins, dry camping sites, and sports field facilities doubling as the weekend's main event area.
Race day meals are complimentary for racers and volunteers only. Additional food trucks will be available on-site for spectators.
