Ahoskie Cycling Club Ride for Colon Cancer

Pedal for purpose and pleasure at the 2026 Dexter Davis Ride for Colon Cancer, organized by the Ahoskie Cycling Club. Cyclists are welcome to select from four routes that cater to various skill levels: a family-friendly 5km route, an invigorating 25km course, a scenic 50km loop, and a challenging 100km ride. All participants will gather at the picturesque Ahoskie Amphitheater (114 Lakeview Dr, Ahoskie, NC 27910) for the start and finish.
Throughout each route, cyclists can enjoy healthy snacks and refreshing beverages provided by SAG stops along the way. The event takes place in the serene countryside of Hertford and Bertie Counties, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that enhances the cycling experience.
Registration fees vary based on when you sign up: $45 through July 14, $50 from July 15 to September 18, and $55 on ride day itself. Each registration includes entry into one of the supported rides as well as a commemorative t-shirt.
The event kicks off with the longest route at 8:30 AM; subsequent distances will begin in staggered intervals every five to ten minutes thereafter. All proceeds from this year's Dexter Davis Ride for Colon Cancer go directly toward supporting patients and families dealing with cancer through the oncology department at ECU Health Roanoke Rapids General Hospital, aiding them with gas cards and other essential needs during their treatment journey.
