AIDS Walk and 5K Run

On Saturday, November 7, 2026, runners and walkers are invited to participate in the AIDS Walk & 5K Run at William Peace University. The event is organized by the Alliance of AIDS Services - Carolina, a dedicated organization committed to enhancing health outcomes for communities affected by HIV/AIDS through supportive services and compassionate care.
The race starts promptly at 8:45 AM with walkers following immediately after. Participants can pick up their packets starting from 7:45 AM that morning, which includes shirts and sponsor swag. The registration and packet pickup table will be clearly marked for easy access.
The course itself is a scenic loop around the university grounds, offering runners two laps to complete the full 5K distance. This event not only provides an opportunity for physical activity but also supports vital initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes within communities facing HIV/AIDS challenges.
