Welcome to the Inwood Indoor Triathlon Experience, where every level of athlete is welcome! This unique indoor triathlon challenges participants with three distinct phases designed for both beginners and seasoned athletes. The event spans 45 minutes, divided into a pool swim, stationary bike ride, and track run. Upon arrival at the facility, you'll check in at the multipurpose room, where volunteers will ensure your comfort as they mark you for identification during each segment of the race. You’ll meet your group leader who will be with you throughout the event to guide and encourage you every step of the way. The swim portion begins with a 15-minute lap swim in the pool. Your heat start time is determined by your pace and falls between 1:00 PM and 2:45 PM. You’ll change into your swimsuit or trisuit, grab goggles and a swim cap (provided), then proceed to the starting area with other swimmers of similar speed. The transition from pool to bike will be swift but crucial. After drying off in the viewing area, you'll move quickly to set up on one of the stationary bikes led by an instructor who will guide your 15-minute workout at a comfortable pace. Gear adjustments and assistance are available if needed. For the final run segment, participants will transition back into running shoes (optional) or continue from where they left off after the bike. The track is bustling with activity as you aim to complete as many laps as possible within the given time frame. Run marshals ensure a smooth flow of athletes and provide timely announcements for pacing. Post-race, enjoy a refreshing smoothie courtesy of Booster Juice and celebrate your achievement by snapping a group photo in the multipurpose room. Spectators are welcome but limited to viewing areas during certain segments—specifically, the swim portion offers an unobstructed view. Encourage friends and family from designated spots as you progress through each phase. Recommended gear includes goggles, a swimsuit or trisuit, a towel (mandatory), extra clothes for transitions, running shoes if needed, and a water bottle. For post-race comfort, bring change of clothes and toiletries. Should unforeseen circumstances arise, the event offers flexible options: you can roll your registration to 2027 with a $30 fee before October 10th or transfer it for free up until then. After this date, transfers are still possible but incur a $15 fee, with no refunds available. Join us at Inwood Indoor Triathlon Experience and experience the thrill of completing your first triathlon in a supportive environment tailored to all skill levels!
