On October 4, 2026, Louhans will host the tenth edition of its annual Run for Awareness and Walk event as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Octobre Rose). The race aims to raise funds and awareness for local cancer-fighting organizations.
Participants can choose between a scenic 5-kilometer walk or a challenging 10-kilometer run. Both routes wind through the charming streets of Louhans, offering runners and walkers alike an opportunity to take in the town’s historic architecture and vibrant atmosphere.
Pre-registration is available for €8, while on-site registration costs €10 starting at 8:00 AM on race day. The event begins with a warm-up around 9:30 AM for runners followed by a gentle start for walkers at 9:45 AM. All participants will gather and register at Place de la Charité in Louhans.
