The 2023 Ardmore Road Race offers an exhilarating challenge for cyclists of all abilities, set against the backdrop of picturesque Ardmore, Pennsylvania. This year’s race will once again see participants don their bib numbers on the right side, ensuring a familiar and comfortable experience. Registration kicks off at 9:15 AM near the Start/Finish line, conveniently located between Santander Bank and Siamese Princess Restaurant (refer to the provided map for precise locations). For easier access, it’s recommended to park through the backside of Ardmore close to Rittenhouse Place. A parking garage is also available off Cricket Avenue; however, if your bike is on the roof, proceed with caution. For those seeking a more direct route, Suburban Square West Lot can be accessed via Montgomery Ave. Drive into the lot from right across the Ardmore Presbyterian Church driveway and park adjacent to the railroad tracks. Alternatively, Ardmore Lot #16 behind Trek Ardmore offers space for overflow parking; access this by entering through Woodside Rd’s Wawa parking lot. The race features a thrilling 1-mile course with five corners and one quick climb leading into an exhilarating finish line. Start times are staggered to cater to various categories, beginning at 10:15 AM for men in the 4/5 age group and concluding with the Kids Race at 3:25 PM. Race day commences rain or shine, though organizers reserve the right to make adjustments due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, crash delays, injuries, police or emergency services needs, or acts of God. Each category has a maximum field limit listed next to its start time for your reference. Safety and compliance are paramount: no aero bars allowed, and all participants must wear approved helmets. USA Cycling rules apply throughout the event, with an additional insurance surcharge of $5 for USA Cycling members and $10 for non-members included in the entry fee. A special note on BAR Champions: to participate at no cost, email organizers prior to registration to secure your spot. Each subsequent race incurs a $15 charge. Sign up now; we have never canceled due to insufficient registrations! Race results will be posted immediately following each event and can be verified during the 15-minute protest period after posting. Any disputes must be resolved via written email to your local association contact. Join us for an unforgettable cycling experience in Ardmore, where scenic routes meet competitive spirit!
