Arizona Sunrise Series Phoenix - Arizona Boardwalk
About the Event
Running enthusiasts are invited to embrace the early morning hours with the sixth installment of the Arizona Sunrise Series at Arizona Boardwalk. This year marks the series' thirteenth edition, and it promises an invigorating start to your day amidst scenic trails. Participants will receive a custom event medal that adds unique elements for each race completed in the series. In addition to the medal, runners can choose from a selection of dri-fit tech t-shirts, racerback tank tops, or sleeveless shirts designed to keep you comfortable during your run. Age group awards are available for top three finishers across various age categories ranging from 8 & Under up to 80+ years old. The event is chip-timed and features real-time results provided by StartLine Racing, ensuring accurate timing and immediate access to race photos on their website. The course has been meticulously set and marked by StartLine Racing to enhance your running experience along dedicated trails that feature a mix of crushed gravel, asphalt, and concrete surfaces. For those with disabilities or mobility challenges, the event is wheelchair-friendly; strollers and leashed pets are also welcome but must start at the back of the starting line. This ensures safety for all participants while maintaining fair competition through chip timing technology. The Arizona Sunrise Series offers a unique opportunity to earn points across seven total races throughout the year. Accumulate extra points based on your performance in each event, with special recognition given to top finishers and those who complete at least four of the series events by the end of 2026. The grand prize includes three $500 gift cards awarded through a random drawing for all qualified participants. Race day activities begin early on July 24th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM with packet pickup at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix, followed by race day registration and staggered starts on the morning of July 25th. The traditional mass start begins promptly at 6:30 AM, setting off a course designed for runners of all abilities. Join us as we celebrate another year of early morning runs with an awards ceremony scheduled to take place shortly after the conclusion of the race, rewarding your dedication and hard work in this challenging yet exhilarating series.
