Immerse yourself in the scenic beauty and challenging terrain of Lake Sonoma as part of the ASCEND Trail Running Summer Training Camp. This 14-week program is tailored for runners aiming to conquer either the Lake Sonoma Marathon or the grueling 50 Miler, offering a blend of structured training sessions and expert guidance. Designed for both novices and seasoned trail runners looking to push their limits, this camp provides an unparalleled opportunity to improve your skills while fostering camaraderie among fellow enthusiasts. Each week includes targeted hill workouts on Wednesday afternoons at the Channel Dr Cobblestone Trail Head, complemented by guided long runs through local trails on Saturdays. The comprehensive training plan is crafted with input from experienced trail runners and racers who will offer coaching, support, and accountability throughout your journey. You’ll gain valuable insights into race preparation, nutrition strategies, and gear selection to ensure you’re fully equipped for the challenges ahead. Upon registration, every participant receives an exclusive Ascend Trail Running Training Camp shirt—crafted specifically for this year’s camp and available only to those who join us in person. The Marathon Group is ideal for runners with a background of completing trail half marathons or similar distances. Meanwhile, the 50 Miler Group caters to athletes who have tackled a 50K race or possess an established base in long-distance trail running, ready to take on even greater challenges. With Ascend Trail Running as your guide, you’ll find structure and accountability that can be hard to achieve solo when preparing for such ambitious goals. Our program aims to enhance not only your physical capabilities but also your confidence and enjoyment of the sport through a supportive community environment. Join us from July 18, 2026, to October 17, 2026, as we prepare for the ultimate test on Lake Sonoma’s trails. Train hard, explore new routes, forge lasting friendships—and keep ascending. Train with Ascend and experience firsthand how a community-driven approach can transform your trail running journey. Don’t miss this chance to be part of something special.
