Experience Asheville's beloved Hot Chocolatey Races for the 19th consecutive year! This family-friendly event, held on Saturday, January 23, 2027, supports Isaac Dickson Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization. Early bird registration closes at midnight on Friday, January 22, or when all slots are filled. On race day, only onsite registration is available for the untimed kids' events. Special discounts await participants: enjoy $5 off if you're 17 years old or younger, and a similar discount applies to those aged 65 and above. For groups of five or more, claim an additional 15% off. Should weather conditions prevent the event from taking place as scheduled, it will be rescheduled for January 30th or February 6th.
