Astoria's Run on the River Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

Astoria's Run on the River Half Marathon, 10K & 5K takes place on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at 9:00 AM PDT starting at 70 West Marine Drive in Astoria, Oregon. This premier event runs along the Astoria Riverwalk and finishes at the Fort George Beer Pier. Registration includes a locally made stamped glass finishers' medal and a beverage from Fort George Brewery. Proceeds fund swimming lessons, scholarships for Astoria Parks and Recreation youth programs, and more.

Important race day information:

• Limited street parking available — use DHS parking lot (450 Marine Drive). Carpooling and walking strongly advised.
• No gear check — leave personal belongings at home, in your vehicle, or with a friend.
• NOT a closed course. Other runners, walkers, bikers, dogs, and strollers may be on the Riverwalk.
• Identifiable volunteers at crossings (especially on the west end) to direct traffic.
• Aid stations along the half marathon course (including 10K and 5K routes) with water and snacks.
• Watch your footing — run across trestles, uneven surfaces, and trolley tracks that can be slick when wet (it sometimes rains in Astoria!).
• Route cleared for Trolley at Noon, but finishers are still welcome — we will be cheering you on.

Packet pickup details to be released soon. Pick up before race day to avoid delays. Your packet includes race bib with beverage ticket attached and t‑shirt (if ordered). Route maps available to photograph or follow the registration page link.
