Experience the DR.-ERNST-VAN-AAKEN STADION WALDNIELHAVERSLOH race, where runners of all abilities are welcome to challenge themselves on the scenic circuit around Schwalmthal. This unique event offers flexible distances that cater to a variety of running goals and paces.
The main attraction is the marathon distance, but participants can choose from any multiple of 4.2 kilometers up until they reach the full marathon length of 42.195 km. Whether you're aiming for an 8.4-kilometer half-marathon or pushing yourself to complete a full marathon in one go, this race accommodates all runners.
For those looking for something shorter and more affordable, there's also a "short distance" option starting at 4.2 kilometers up to 16.8 kilometers, with an entry fee of just €15. The longer distances from half-marathon onwards cost €25 per participant.
The race is open to runners aged 12 and above for the short-distance category and those aged 16 and older for all other distances.
As you make your way around each lap, a transponder attached to your bib will automatically record your split times at every turn of the track. These detailed results are printed on your finisher's certificate along with both your gross and net time. Every completed round counts towards official race standings.
A highlight for all participants is the PinkPower refreshment station inside the stadium, where you'll find everything needed to keep going strong through each lap. The energizing stop provides a crucial boost every 4.2 kilometers as runners circle back around the track.
The event also includes an organizational contribution fee of €25 per participant (€15 for those opting for the shorter distance).
Late registrations on race day are possible until 9:30 AM, but come with an increased entry charge of €30 (or €20 for short-distance runners).
