Cedar Glades Park Race Day Experience: October 24, 2026
Prepare to embark on an unforgettable cycling adventure at Cedar Glades Park! Nestled amidst the scenic hills of Hot Springs, Arkansas, this race promises a thrilling experience for cyclists from all levels. Whether you're a seasoned rider or just starting out, there's a course tailored specifically for your skill level.
For expert and intermediate racers (formerly Cat 1 & 2), the park offers two challenging courses designed to test your limits. Course 1 caters to younger riders with distances of up to four laps covering 5 miles each. Meanwhile, more experienced cyclists will tackle longer routes on Course 2, ranging from 10 to an impressive 20 miles.
New participants and juniors under the age of 18 can join in the fun without breaking the bank. Annual USA Cycling membership is required for both categories but comes with a special offer: first-time members enjoy a discounted rate at just $40 ($20 if you choose auto-renew). And the best part? A free race license is included, allowing you to participate on race day.
First-timers and novice riders (Cat 3) will also find their perfect fit. A one-day license fee of $15 ensures your spot in either practice sessions or competitive races throughout the park. Clydesdale cyclists can join with a unique challenge that combines strength and endurance, while e-bike enthusiasts have their own dedicated route.
On October 24th, pre-ride opportunities abound from morning until evening on the 23rd at Cedar Glades Park. Packets are available for pickup both days to ensure you're fully prepared come race time.
