Set for June 6, 2027, this edition promises to be another memorable chapter in Grafman’s legacy. The event offers three options: a full Middle Distance Triathlon, an Aquabike challenge focusing on swimming and cycling, or a Relay race where you can share the experience with friends.
The day starts at dawn with a refreshing 1.9km swim in the crystal-clear waters of Grafham Water. Midway through, swimmers enjoy an Aussie-style exit to cheers from enthusiastic spectators. Next up is a scenic 90km bike course that winds through quiet country lanes and Cambridgeshire’s rolling hills before returning to transition.
The final leg is a challenging yet rewarding 21km run along the lakeside with breathtaking views of Grafham Water, including iconic landmarks like the Valve Tower. The route offers continuous support from marshals and spectators, making every step feel achievable as you push toward the finish line.
Race day amenities include early morning registration starting at 5:30am for those staying nearby or evening-before options for local participants. Bikes are racked on race morning to ensure everything is ready when it’s time to start your journey.
For a full weekend experience, camping near Grafham Village offers easy access and more time to soak in the event atmosphere. The venue also provides opportunities to rent wetsuits from Zone3 if you need them.
