Join us for the highly anticipated return of our annual Auchterarder 10K Chilli Trail Race, which promises to be a Halloween spectacular in 2026. Organized by Five Star Events, this trail run offers runners an exciting blend of scenic beauty and challenging terrain.
Registration Details:
All participants must register between 9am and 10:30am at The Sports Hub within the Community School of Auchterarder to collect their race number and timing chip. Please ensure you bring a valid form of identification for verification purposes, as ID checks will be conducted on-site.
Race Route:
The Chilli Trail Race is renowned for its unique route shaped like a chili pepper! Starting in the heart of Auchterarder, runners will venture into the foothills of the Ochil Hills. The course features varied surfaces such as forest trails and paved paths, with stunning views throughout. Expect steady climbs and exhilarating descents, along with stream crossings that add an extra element of adventure to your run.
Safety & Support:
A race safety briefing will be sent via email a week before the event date to ensure all participants are aware of essential guidelines and can ask any questions they may have beforehand. Race marshals will also provide on-site guidance throughout the course, prioritizing runner safety at every turn.
Race Day Essentials:
- Age Requirement: Participants must be 16 years or older as of race day.
- Headphones Policy: While headphones are not permitted during the run (except for bone conduction models), feel free to enjoy your music before and after the event.

Entry & Payment Information:
Entries can only be made online, with registration closing on October 24th or once the maximum number of participants is reached. No refunds will be issued if an entry needs cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control; however, substitutions are possible through EntryCentral before October 24th.
Goodies & Prizes:
- Every finisher receives a custom Chilli Trail Race snood and medal.
- Awards go out to the top three male and female runners, as well as first-place winners in age categories (Senior, V40, V50, V60, and V70+), local participants, and best costume wearers.
Parking & Logistics:
Plentiful street parking is available near Auchterarder's town center for easy access to the start line. Bag storage will be provided at registration and around the finish area but please note that we do not assume responsibility for any personal items left unattended during race day activities.
