About the Event

The 2026 MarchMingle incorporates the innaugural two-day IVV-OceaniaPiad, Social Activities and the annual two-day Aussie Peace Walk intercultural walking festival. Participants represent their nation or their cultural heritage and come together in friendship for six days of healthy outdoor activity. Experience the IVV-OceaniaPiad – two days of adventure with your choice of 20km or 10km walks on each day. Connect with others at the BBQ pool party and jump in to complete a swim. Cycling through Canberra’s stunning landscapes alongside participants from around the world for your unique IVV-OceaniaPiad tri-event finisher’s award. The OceaniaPiad concludes with a beer at the Capital Brewery Taproom. Between events, explore Australia’s capital on exclusive tours. Represent your cultural heritage and create lasting connections with fellow participants. Then take part in the 6th Aussie Peace Walk and earn the coverted two-day walk medal and bar. Choose two of the seven different walks ranging from a 7km stroll to a challenging 42km trailwalk – there’s something for every fitness level. The MarchMingle isn’t just an event. The friendships you forge will span continents, the memories will last forever, and the spirit of unity will remind you that our world is beautifully connected.
