About the Event

Two laps of the track. Your time determines the price of your beer. The BackRoads X HOKA 800m Night returns to London, Ontario, on Friday, June 19, 2026, starting at BackRoads (1295 Riverbend Road). The 2nd event of the HOKA Hat Trick Series. Four sections based on predicted times: 3:45+, 3:00‑3:44, sub‑3 minutes, and Championship (sub‑2:20). Demo the latest HOKA shoes before you race. Post‑race outdoor festival at Legacy Park — beer garden, food trucks, DJ Kevin Turcot. Free entry for all sections.

Championship Section
Predicted time under 2:20 — sub‑elite field

The Concept — Run Fast, Beer Cheap:

800 meters on a standard outdoor track (2 laps)
Your finishing time determines the price of your post‑race beer (up to two beers)
Faster time = cheaper beer. Slow time? Still beer, just at a slightly higher price
Liquid rewards for every runner — but the fast folks get the discount

5:30‑5:45 PM — Arrive at BackRoads, sign in
5:30‑6:00 PM — Grab a pair of HOKA demo shoes (try before you buy)
6:05 PM — Welcome announcements
6:10 PM — Warmup jog to STA Track (2.2 km)
6:25‑6:30 PM — Arrive at STA Track
6:40 PM — Section 1 (3:45+)
6:47 PM — Section 2 (3:00‑3:44)
6:53 PM — Section 3 (sub‑3)
6:57 PM — Championship Section (sub‑2:20)
7:00 PM — Cool down jog back to BackRoads (2.2 km)
7:15‑9:00 PM — Outdoor festival at Legacy Park — beer garden, food trucks, DJ Kevin Turcot
