About the Event

Welcome to the registration page for the Baggelhuizer Cross in Assen! We're excited that you'll be joining us on Sunday, November 29, 2026. Registration is open until midnight on November 26, 2026, and no late registrations will be accepted.
This year marks the 14th edition of the Baggelhuizer Cross at Beachclub Zand Erover by the Baggelhuizerplas lake. The course has been refreshed with options for a 4 km or an 8 km cross-country run. Canicross participants will compete in the shorter distance, while youth runners have three categories: 500 meters, 1000 meters, and 1500 meters.
The 4 km race counts towards the Assenruns competition series. Entry fees are set at €12 for adults participating in either of the main races; entry into the kids' run is free. Participants must be at least 18 years old to compete in the 8 km event and a minimum age of 12 applies for those running the shorter distance.
Students from selected Voortgezet Onderwijs schools around Assen can take part in the CollegeRun competition, which is also free. To register, select your school during personal information entry if you are eligible.
Please note that only students attending one of the specified schools will receive a starting number for the CollegeRun category; others should not choose this option to avoid disappointment on race day.
