Join the festive spirit of San Ramon on December 5, 2026, for the Bah Humbug! 5K Run/Walk. This family-friendly race kicks off at 9:00 am from the San Ramon Community Center and winds through picturesque neighborhoods adorned with holiday cheer. Participants will receive an official long-sleeved t-shirt and a commemorative ornament, adding to the joy of the event.
The course features scenic routes that showcase San Ramon's vibrant community spirit as runners pass by decorated homes and festive displays. The race is chip-timed for accurate results, ensuring fair competition across all age groups. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each division, with a special awards ceremony following the last runner’s crossing of the line.
Costume enthusiasts can add an extra layer of fun to their run by dressing up and competing for prizes in categories like "Most Grinch-Like" or "Best Holiday Spirit." Groups of five participants or more can also vie for recognition as the best themed group, fostering camaraderie among runners.
Packet pickup is available on December 4th from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Sports Basement in San Ramon. On-site registration will be open during this time and on race day if needed. Early bird discounts are offered for those who register before November 30, making it the perfect opportunity to secure a spot.
Parking is conveniently located near City Hall, the Community Center, and Iron Horse Middle School, with clear instructions provided regarding entry and exit times. Participants are advised against parking in residential neighborhoods or around Central Park Marketplace during race day due to road closures that will affect traffic flow along key routes like Alcosta Blvd., Norris Canyon Road, and Executive Parkway.
The Bah Humbug! 5K promises a memorable start to the holiday season with its blend of competition, community spirit, and festive fun.
