Barn Burner 5K & 10K

The Barn Burner 5K & 10K returns on July 25, 2026, offering runners the chance to tackle the summer heat and test their endurance along the historic Centennial Trail. This race takes place at the iconic Nakashima Heritage Barn in Arlington, Washington, providing a scenic backdrop for both serious athletes and casual participants.
The event is designed with training goals in mind, allowing runners to push their limits on a mostly flat and paved course that’s perfect for pacing practice and performance tracking. Whether you’re aiming for personal bests or simply looking for motivation, the Barn Burner offers an ideal setting to challenge yourself under warm conditions.
Families are welcome too; the event encourages participation from all ages, making it a community-focused experience where everyone can share in the spirit of perseverance and camaraderie. The historic barn itself adds character to the race day atmosphere, symbolizing resilience and strength through time.
Registration includes chip-to-chip timing for accurate results, as well as finisher medals and light post-race refreshments. Additional perks include raffle entries for future LeeD Ventures Running events, with awards given out to top male and female runners in both 5K and 10K categories, along with the fastest kid participant.
The race starts at 10:00 am for the 10K distance followed by a quick turnaround for the 5K start at 10:05 am. Packet pick-up begins early that morning from 9:00 to 9:45 am, and participants are encouraged to arrive well in advance of their race start time.
