BCNC's Family Fun Run & Walk

About the Event

The Family Fun Run & Walk celebrates strong families and takes attendees through groomed trails and fields through Quincy’s beautiful Merrymount Park. All ages are welcome to run, walk, or join us virtually. The Run and Walk strengthens the Asian and immigrant community and raises funds to support our vital programs. Proceeds raised from this run will go to support youth leadership programs, adult English classes, and mental health support services for Asian and immigrant families.

Ages 5 years old and under are FREE.
The course is stroller-friendly.

Regular Registration Fee (Sept. 12th - Oct. 23rd @ 11:59 pm)

Day-Of Registration Fee (Oct. 24th - Race Day)

Volunteer

Volunteers are needed from 7:30 am - 12:00 pm for set up, registration, water/snack stations, course marshalling, cheering on our runners and walkers, and clean up. No running experience necessary. All volunteers will receive a shirt.

About Quincy

Learn more about the host city, Quincy.

Quincy is in Massachusetts. Quincy was the birthplace of presidents John Adams and John Quincy Adams. United States Declaration of Independence signer and first Massachusetts governor John Hancock was also born here. Quincy produced the first commercial railroad in the country in order to transport the granite from its quarries to Boston for use in many buildings there. Quincy's shipbuilding history started with sailing ships in the 1800s and continued with battleships at the Fore River Shipyard. Howard Johnson's and Dunkin Donuts restaurants were also started here.
