About the Event

On September 18, 2027, runners will converge on the historic city of Bergamo for an exhilarating and challenging race through its winding streets and scenic trails. The course spans approximately 17 kilometers with a significant elevation gain of +800 meters, weaving through both Lower and Upper Bergamo.
Participants can expect to navigate a diverse terrain that includes roads bustling with local charm, dirt tracks offering glimpses into the quieter side of the city, and steps leading up to the picturesque medieval hilltops. The route starts at Largo Gavazzeni in the heart of the Lower Town and winds its way through narrow cobblestone streets and steep staircases that climb towards Upper Bergamo.
Both individual runners and pairs are welcome to take part, with both categories featuring an identical course layout and finish line back at the starting point. The race is designed for those who appreciate a blend of urban exploration and mountainous adventure.
To ensure safety during this nighttime event, participants must carry a headtorch throughout their journey.
This unique run offers runners not only a test of endurance but also an immersive cultural experience as they traverse one of Italy's most historic cities under the light of their headtorches.
