About the Event

Welcome to Luxborough Lakes, where newcomers to Be Endurance Open Water Swimming gather for their initial induction session. This mandatory 30-minute orientation is designed exclusively for those who have not previously joined us at one of our lakes.
Arrive by 7:50 a.m. sharp and register promptly. The registration team will guide you to the waiting area before your scheduled start time between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m., when an experienced instructor will lead you through the necessary safety procedures, techniques, and rules of open water swimming.
Participants are encouraged but not required to wear wetsuits for added warmth and buoyancy. If you prefer to swim without one, we can provide a tow float if needed. This session is crucial for ensuring your readiness to enjoy safe solo swims at Luxborough Lakes in the future.
Luxborough Lakes offers serene waters surrounded by lush greenery, providing an idyllic setting for new swimmers to acclimate and learn essential skills under expert guidance before embarking on their open water swimming journey.
