Bedan'Nev : 2ème Manche du Trophée de Normandie et de l'Eure

On Sunday, November 15, 2026, the Groupe d'Activités Subaquatiques de Grand-Couronne and the Normandy Regional Open Water Swimming Commission are set to host the BEDAN'NEV competition at Bédanne Base in Tourville-la-Rivière. This event is part of the second leg of the Normandy and Eure Trophy series, featuring a 4.2-kilometer course that competitors will complete in two laps.
The race welcomes both local clubs and those from outside the department who are licensed for open water swimming under the FFESSM (French Federation for Underwater Sports) regulations for the 2026-2027 season. Non-licensed participants can join by obtaining an "open pass" license and presenting a medical certificate issued within the last year.
Competitors must adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the use of approved buoyancy aids throughout the race. The event is designed exclusively for swimmers using support from boats or shore-based teams. Registration opens at 9:00 AM on site at Bédanne Base and the race starts promptly at 10:00 AM.
Entry fees are set at €12 per participant, which includes a post-race refreshment. Technical platform registration via Le-sportif is required for all competitors by October 29, 2026, with additional costs covering administrative services. Judges can register for free but must contact the club in advance through nev@gas76.fr.
Participants are expected to bring their current FFESSM license and a valid medical certificate specific to open water swimming competition, along with proof of supplemental insurance coverage from either the FFESSM or another provider that includes "Open Water Swimming Competition." For minors under 18 years old, parental consent forms must also be submitted during registration.
