This year's race features an exciting mix of miles and hops, celebrating local breweries with a variety of refreshments including beer, whiskey, and vodka cocktails. Race organizers encourage runners to lace up their shoes and invite friends for this fun-filled event, complete with costume contests for both best individual costumes and largest teams. Whether you're a seasoned runner or simply enjoy the camaraderie, there's something in it for everyone at the Scallywompus Beer Garden Run. The course offers multiple race options to suit all abilities: - 5k (8:30 AM) - https://www.plotaroute.com/route/23171045 - 10k (8:20 AM) - https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2317109 - Half Marathon (7:30 AM) - https://www.plotaroute.com/route/32434031 Early bird registration fees are as follows: - 5k $40 - 10k $50 - 10k Relay $74 - Half Marathon $94 Fees increase by $5 on race day and by an additional $10 after a specified date. Packet pickup will be held at STOUT HOUSE, located at: 11851 Bandera Rd #119, Helotes, TX 78023 Friday, April 2nd from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A second chance is available on race day until the start of your chosen event. Age categories are plentiful and include: - Under 14 - 15–20 - 21–29 - 30–39 - 40–49 - 50–59 - 60–69 - 70+ First overall male and female runners, as well as first masters in both categories, will be honored. All age group awards are based on chip time due to staggered start times. Virtual participation is also available with no limit on when you can complete the course.
