Nenechaj sa poraziť! is an inspiring charity run taking place on October 10, 2026, at Dvořákovo nábřežie near Grand Hotel River Park in Bratislava. This event aims to raise funds and awareness for Porážka.sk's activities, including online speech therapy groups and support for individuals affected by NCMP (Neuro-Cognitive Motor Problems). The day kicks off at 9:00 AM with a special run dedicated to patients recovering from NCMP conditions, followed closely by children’s races starting at 9:15 AM. The main events begin promptly at 10:00 AM and 10:15 AM for the 10 km and 5 km runs respectively. Children's races are divided into three categories based on age: - Category A (ages up to 6 years) - Category B (ages 7–9 years) - Category C (ages 10–14 years) The adult races welcome participants aged 15 or older. Both the 5 km and 10 km courses offer competitive categories for men, women, and those recovering from NCMP. Registration is open online through www.behneporazenych.sk until October 7, 2026, with late registration available on-site if capacity allows. Participants are encouraged to register early as the event has a strict limit of 2000 registered runners. Participants can also purchase official race t-shirts at a discounted price when registering online or in person during packet pickup times: - Friday, October 9th: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Saturday, October 10th: For children's races and NCMP run participants: 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM For the 5 km and 10 km runs: 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM The race fees vary based on registration dates: - Children’s race: €8 (until October 1, 2026), €10 (October 2 - October 7, 2026), and €15 at the event - 5 km run: €15 (until October 1, 2026), €18 (October 2 - October 7, 2026), and €20 on-site - 10 km run: €18 (until October 1, 2026), €25 (October 2 - October 7, 2026), and €30 at the event - NCMP participants register for free All registered runners will receive a finisher’s medal, race number, refreshments, and photographs from the event. The proceeds after covering expenses go directly to Porážka.sk's initiatives. Safety is paramount; all participants are required to have valid health insurance coverage. It is also recommended that individuals consult with their healthcare provider before participating in such an activity. On-site medical services will be available throughout the race course, start line, and finish area. Results from the electronic timing system provided by Rozbehaj sa will be posted on www.behneporazenych.sk following the event's conclusion. Participants are expected to follow all rules set forth by WA (World Athletics) and the organizing committee during their run.
