Running for Hope Race Details Join the "Run for Hope" race organized by the Internal Hematology and Oncology Clinic (IHOK) under the patronage of FN Brno Bohunice, alongside the Non-profit Fund Help to People with Leukemia, Transfusion and Tissue Department at FN Brno Bohunice, and patient organization LYMFOM HELP. This year's event will take place on Sunday, September 13th, 2026, in Anthropos Park, Brno.
The race is more than just miles run; every step symbolizes support, solidarity, and hope for patients suffering from bone marrow diseases and their loved ones. Whether you are an experienced runner or prefer a leisurely walk, your participation counts. Lace up your shoes and join us to make a difference together.
Four different routes cater to various levels of runners: individual races, relay teams, children's categories, and symbolic runs for those who cannot participate actively but wish to contribute. All funds raised go directly toward supporting patients, upgrading clinic equipment, and funding specialized research projects.
The event will also feature blood group testing, eye examinations, the sale of race t-shirts and "transFUSEK" socks, as well as entertainment for children throughout the afternoon.

Registration
Preferably online at https://my.raceresult.com/352923/registration to expedite on-site registration. On-the-day registrations are available until capacity is reached.
### Race Categories
1. Children's Category - "Bunny Run" (500m)
- Non-competitive, no timing or ranking.
- Medals and treats for all participants.

2. Relay Team Category (2.9 km)
- Teams of 4 runners each completing one lap.
3. Individual Race Categories
- Distance: 5.7km
- Open to both male and female competitors
4. Symbolic Run (500m)
- For those who cannot run but want to support the cause, including patients and family members.

- 15:00 Start of children's race
- 15:15 Start of relay races
- 15:20 Individual race start
- 16:30 Symbolic run begins
### Entry Fees
- Children’s Race - Free
- Relay Teams - Minimum 800 Kč per team
- Individuals - Minimum 300 Kč
All participants receive a bib with an integrated timing chip, medals from sponsors and partners, refreshments including fruits.
