Bergey's 5K and Fun Run in Souderton 2027 (fka Moyer 5K)

Join us for the 30th Anniversary of the Moyer 5K, a beloved community tradition that has been bringing Souderton together since 1995. This year’s race promises to be an unforgettable evening filled with excitement and camaraderie.
The event kicks off at Souderton Community Park on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, where participants will gather for a fun-filled night of running, walking, and celebrating. Over 700 runners are expected to lace up their shoes and hit the scenic streets of Souderton, with all proceeds benefiting both the E-Meals Program and college scholarship funds for high-achieving cross-country athletes from Souderton Area High School.
The festivities begin at 5:15 pm, offering in-person registration until 6:00 pm. Enjoy a block party atmosphere complete with games, giveaways, and live music to keep the energy high throughout the evening. The event features a variety of activities for all ages:
- Kids' Fun Run: A special 1K race starting at 6:30 pm, designed just for young runners.
- 5K Race & Fitness Walk: The main event begins promptly at 7:00 pm.
Participants will receive custom-designed t-shirts upon registration and can look forward to refreshments such as pizza, popsicles, water, and more after crossing the finish line. Water stations and music along the route ensure that everyone stays hydrated and entertained throughout their run or walk.
For those who register in advance online but still need a bit of flexibility, on-site registration will be available from 5:15 pm to 6:00 pm at Souderton Community Park. Current Moyer customers can also take advantage of a special $5 discount by selecting the appropriate option during checkout.
