Berkshire Brevet Petersburg 300K / Readsboro 200K

Experience the Berkshire Brevet series, sponsored by New Horizons Bikes of Westfield, MA, and sanctioned by Randonneurs USA. Participation is open only to members of Randonneurs USA, who can join at this link.
These timed long-distance cycling events adhere to the rules set by the Adaux Club Parisien and its American counterpart, ensuring a challenging yet structured experience for participants. Gran Fondo pace line riding is allowed, but there's an upper time limit for completion.
The Petersburg 300K brevet takes you on a hilly journey through Southern Vermont, Eastern New York, and Western Massachusetts. With over 12,000 feet of climbing, this event demands both endurance and strategy. Proper lighting and reflective wear are mandatory to ensure safety during the ride.
Alternatively, explore the Readsboro 200K brevet, which covers a shorter but equally demanding route through Southern Vermont and Western Massachusetts. This loop presents its own set of challenges with more than 8,500 feet of elevation gain. While not required, it is strongly suggested that cyclists bring their lights and reflective gear for visibility.
