About the Event
After its last iteration in 2022, the Best Time Marathon is set to return. The time tunnel located in Munich's southeastern district has permanently closed, but we have found a place steeped in history and atmosphere for our next experiment. The Groundcrew, now reorganized and ready, awaits another round of temporal leaping. Are you prepared to join them? Hundreds of runners participating as Timejumpers managed to shave an entire hour off their marathon best times during previous events. Even Norwegian professional athletes have taken notice of the Best Time Marathon's unique appeal. We believe that everyone should have a chance to experience this physical experiment firsthand. On the last Sunday in October, participants will gather once again for another round of time-bending fun. Registration is expected to open around May 1st, 2026. Before signing up, familiarize yourself with these key terms: GROUNDCREW refers to the Best Time Marathon's organizing team; TIMEJUMPER denotes runners participating in the time-leaping experiment; and ZYKLOTRON describes the circular course that winds through a notorious time tunnel.
