BEYOND NEWCASTLE - 55KM ULTRA & 25KM TRAIL RUN

Buckle up for an unforgettable running adventure with BEYOND NEWCASTLE, set to take place on April 24th, 2027. This race offers two distinct routes through the scenic landscapes around Newcastle upon Tyne: a challenging 55km Ultra and a more accessible yet equally captivating 25km Trail run.
The journey begins at Guild Hall Car Park in the heart of Newcastle's vibrant city centre before venturing into natural beauty along both sides of the River Tyne. The longer route leads runners through picturesque villages like Wylam, Derwenthaugh Marina, and Chopwell Woods, while also delving into the serene valleys around High Spen and Lintzford.
Both courses are meticulously planned with safety in mind; each kilometre is marked by friendly marshals who provide encouragement along the way. Feed stations stocked with essentials await runners at regular intervals to ensure hydration and energy levels remain optimal throughout their journey.
