BIG RED GRAVEL RUN

Experience the unique challenge of Big Red, weaving along the picturesque Rouge River with its diverse terrain and technical sections. This 130-kilometer journey offers runners approximately 1500 to 1700 meters of ascent through a mix of singletrack trails and epic gravel paths. The route promises an unforgettable experience for those seeking adventure.
For a more compact challenge, Little Red awaits with its own set of technical sections and substantial gravel stretches. Covering around 60 kilometers, this race will test your endurance over roughly 600 to 700 meters of elevation gain.
Join us in celebrating the event's spirit from Friday through Sunday. Kick off the weekend with pre-ride activities on Friday evening followed by a beer launch party and fireside gathering Saturday night. On Sunday, enjoy post-race rides or runs before wrapping up your adventure at the finish line.
All weekend events are included in your registration fee, except for camping and merchandise purchases. Upon signing up, you receive chip timing services to track your progress accurately. The start/finish area offers essential facilities such as parking, washrooms, water stations, and coffee stands, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout.
Fueling on the course is limited but strategic with two feed stations in Little Red and three in Big Red for runners who need sustenance during their journey. Post-race celebrations include a delicious BBQ meal accompanied by craft beers at select venues; additional bar services are available for purchase.
The route details will be revealed in August, marked clearly along the path, though we strongly advise using a navigation device to ensure you don't miss any turns or scenic spots.
Unfortunately, no refunds are offered due to various commitments and planning involved. Participants must adhere strictly to these terms.
For accommodation options, choose from three camping sites: onsite at Harrington Valley Community Center (no direct car access), Gilbert's campsite 7 kilometers away with modern amenities, or RV parking near the start/finish area for those traveling in larger vehicles. All prices are per person for the entire weekend and include all necessary services.
