Bike Carmel - Roundabout Ride

Join us for the exhilarating Bike Carmel Roundabout Ride, set to take place on a crisp Sunday morning. The event kicks off at 8:00 AM with check-in starting from 7:00 AM at Midtown Plaza near Javahouse on Elm Street. For convenient parking, head over to the Midtown North Garage accessible via Veterans Way.
As you prepare for your ride, pick up a wristband during check-in; it’s mandatory wear throughout the event. Post-ride, make sure to visit the Bike Carmel tent located at the finish line to claim your swag bag, complimentary refreshments, and food tickets without any hassle of carrying them on your bike.
The course has been marked with yellow "C's" for easy navigation, guiding you through two distinct routes available. You can find detailed maps and route downloads from RideWithGPS. Be cautious at key intersections: 116th St. and Hazel Dell Pkwy, where the left turn onto southbound Hazel Dell Pkwy will involve merging early into the appropriate lane; and West Rd and 116th St., especially on the longer route, which features steep hills that can sometimes obscure cyclists from drivers. Always use caution and consider using lights.
Safety is paramount: helmets are required for all participants, who must adhere to traffic laws at every turn. Non-standard bicycles like aero bars or penny farthings are not permitted; if you’re riding an unconventional bike, wear bright colors and attach an orange flag. Bike trailers aren’t allowed either due to safety concerns. Should an emergency arise, dial 911 immediately for assistance.
After the ride, enjoy live music and free food from our sponsors at the finish area starting from 9:00 AM. The official course closure is set for 1:00 PM, allowing ample time to savor your post-ride treats and festivities.
