About the Event

The historic Summer Classic, celebrating its 59th edition in 2026, continues to honor Coach Bill Luti, who established the Concord 5 Miler back in 1968. This long-standing tradition makes it one of New England's oldest continuously run footraces. The course is a scenic 5-mile loop starting and finishing at Memorial Field in Concord, NH. Runners will enjoy passing through picturesque St. Paul’s School on their way around the track.
After the main event concludes, families can participate in a free Kids Fun Run for children aged 12 and under. On race morning, early packet pickup is available from Marathon Sports on Main Street to avoid lines at Memorial Field.
For those who miss online registration or prefer an in-person option, late sign-ups are open from July 17th, between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM at Marathon Sports, and from 6:30 AM until just before the start on Saturday morning. Registering early can secure a spot with fewer crowds.
