The Black Sheep Run, set to take place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the scenic Bellevue Rod and Gun Club located at 1801 La Platte Road in Bellevue, Nebraska, promises a unique running experience for participants of all ages. This event offers multiple race categories including a half marathon starting at 7:00 AM, followed by a 10K beginning at 7:30 AM, and concludes with a 5K run commencing at 8:00 AM. For those looking to enjoy the day without intense competition, there's also a Family Fun Run kicking off at 8:30 AM.
Participants are advised to pick up their race packets on Friday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping located in Omaha. Ensuring you have your packet and bib ahead of time will allow for a smoother start to the event day, reducing any potential stress.
The Black Sheep Run offers distinctive swag items tailored to each race category. Family Fun Run participants receive stylish black sheep sunglasses along with tickets for an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the finish line celebration area. For those in the 5K, 10K, and half marathon categories, a performance race hat and a Black Sheep Finisher medal await them upon crossing the finish line.
After completing your run, join fellow participants in celebrating with a complimentary all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast at the event venue. This festive gathering provides an opportunity to socialize, relax, and enjoy delicious food while supporting a great cause. Children under three years old eat for free, making it an inclusive experience for families.
A portion of the proceeds from this run will go directly towards Broken Ground Ministries and support the Bellevue Rod and Gun Club.
