The Blackfoot Ultra 2026 takes place on Saturday, 30 May 2026 at 5:00 AM MDT at 51523 Range Road 200 in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. This ultramarathon event benefits runners who want a quality trail race in the Edmonton area, showcasing the Cooking Lake Blackfoot Provincial Recreation Area — a hidden jewel just east of Edmonton. The event has previously hosted numerous Canadian Ultra Championship distances from 50 km to 100 km. Proceeds support Spirit North (97% of CA$1,845 goal raised) and Friends of the Blackfoot (99% of CA$4,155 goal raised).
