COME RUN THE TRAIL WITH US!

Join the Blackwater Heritage Trail crew at our 3rd Annual Blackwater Heritage Trailblazer Fun Run on February 21, 2026! This is a beautiful tree-lined, well-maintained paved trail and the perfect path for a Saturday morning run with family and friends!

This fun run event on the Blackwater Heritage Trail is open to all ages, running or walking abilities, strollers and leashed dogs. Unique awards, prizes and fun for the whole family!

BRINGING BACK FOR THE 3RD YEAR:

Family-friendly fun run/walk, 2.7 miles this year to honor the 27th year of the beautiful Blackwater Heritage Trail. Starts at 9:00am. No Age Group Awards to be given out for the fun run, but there will be fun prizes and door prizes given out for all participants.

13K RETURNING FOR THE 2ND YEAR:

The 13km race starts at 9:00am, and features a scenic route on the trail, 4ish miles out and 4ish miles back - get your race on! Overall and Age group awards (see below).

REGISTRATION/PRICING:

$54 for the 13k race, and $27 for the 2.7 mile fun run/walk - thru 7:00pm Friday, Feb. 20th, 2026. ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 7:00pm ON Feb. 20th, 2026.

NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION for the 13k, but there WILL be race day registration for the 2.7 mile fun run/walk. Bring your family and come join us for a fun morning on the Heritage Trail!

***Shirt sizing guaranteed if registered by Feb. 6, 2025.... Size and/or availability of shirts is not guaranteed to late registrants (after Feb. 6, 2025). After Feb. 6, 2025 shirts will be on an inventory basis. So the earlier you signup the greater chance you will have in securing a shirt in your size!

PACKET PICKUP/LATE REGISTRATION:

NO Friday Packet Pickup this year! Come early on Saturday Feb. 21, 2025 @The Blackwater Heritage Trail Visitor Center 7:00 am to 8:30 am -- late registration (fun run/walk only!) and packet pickup for both distances.

Top Male and Female Overall
Top 3 Male and Female in age groups: (0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+).
Top 3 Para-athletes
Top 3 male and female walkers

OTHER RACE DAY INFORMATION:

About Milton
