Brunch League Sports invites you to lace up, show out, and run for something bigger than a finish line.

The BLS Run for Community is a Labor Day weekend 5K fundraiser  and a celebration of what happens when athletics, nutrition, and community come together in one place.

You run. We brunch. Everyone wins.

Why we run

Millions of children rely on school meals for daily nutrition, but on weekends, holidays, and during the summer, that access disappears.

Brunch League Sports was created to close that gap. We combine food, sports, structured programming, and academics into one consistent, community-based experience so families don't have to choose between food and opportunity.

We are not a drop-off program. We are a shared space where student-athletes and families can eat, learn, train, and grow together.

Every registration you make directly funds BLS programs that keep young athletes active, supported, and connected when school is out. Access changes outcomes and no athlete should lose opportunity just because school is closed.

What to expect on race day

Cross that finish line and step into the BLS Brunch Experience — a celebration of community, culture, and sport featuring:

• A brunch-style finish line spread (yes, really)
• Live music
• Vendor village and community activation
• Awards ceremony and age group recognition
• VIP experience with reserved seating, premium brunch, and athlete meet-and-greet
• Family-friendly atmosphere — bring the whole crew

Registration tiers

• Early Bird (first 75 spots) — $35 · Race bib, BLS t-shirt, brunch finish access
• Standard Registration — $50 · Race bib, BLS t-shirt, brunch finish access
• Youth (under 18) — $20 · Must run with a registered adult
• Late Registration — $65 · Available Aug 16 through race week
• VIP Brunch Experience (30 spots only) — $100 · Reserved seating, premium brunch, BLS merch bag, athlete meet-and-greet
• Virtual Runner — $25 · Run anywhere Labor Day weekend · digital bib + medal mailed

Course details

A flat, fast, beginner-friendly 5K (3.1 miles) in College Park, MD — perfect for first-timers, families, and competitive runners alike. Full course map and venue address will be posted upon confirmation. All finish line activities take place at the race site.
