Blue Ash Firefighters 25th Anniversary of 9/11 Run, Walk, & Stair Climb

On September 11, 2026, the Blue Ash community will come together for an impactful and meaningful run/walk and stair climb to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. This event is organized by dedicated members of the Blue Ash Fire Department who aim to honor those lost in the attacks while fostering a sense of unity and resilience among participants.
The race begins with a scenic 2.2-mile course that winds through the heart of Blue Ash's residential areas, offering runners and walkers an opportunity to take part in this solemn tribute at their own pace. The route is designed not only for physical challenge but also as a reflective journey, allowing individuals to pause and remember.
Following the run/walk segment, participants transition into the 110-foot stair climb inside one of Blue Ash's iconic buildings. This challenging ascent symbolizes the courage displayed by first responders on that fateful day in 2001. The climb is an intense yet rewarding experience, pushing physical limits while paying tribute to those who risked their lives for others.
The event features a supportive and community-driven atmosphere with volunteers providing encouragement throughout both segments of the race. There will be refreshments available at various points along the course as well as emotional support from fellow participants and spectators alike.
