Blue Trail Run

Experience the unique and unconventional "Blue Trail" race, set to take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026. The route follows the existing Blue Walk path along the picturesque coastline of Skive Fjord, starting at Jenle and finishing at Strandtangen in Skive.
The total distance for this challenging event is approximately 15 kilometers, designed as a relay race with teams consisting of 3 to 5 runners. Participants will navigate through three distinct phases: running from Jenle to Lybystrand, solving puzzles at Lybystrand, and finally completing the last leg from Lybystrand to Strandtangen.
The majority of the course hugs the shoreline, offering breathtaking views as it winds its way along rugged coastal terrain ideal for trail runners. Proper footwear and clothing suitable for such conditions are highly recommended. The race clock starts with the initial runner's departure and continues during the puzzle-solving phase, integrating this time into each team’s final result.
Teams will face a series of questions at Lybystrand; incorrect answers add extra minutes to their overall finishing times. Medals will be awarded to the three fastest teams, while refreshments await runners upon crossing the finish line. Each participant who provides sizing information during registration and signs up no later than September 4th by 12:00 PM on Raceresult will receive a stylish race t-shirt at the end of their run.
Organized in collaboration between Skive Fjord Morgen Rotary Klub and Skive AM, this event promises an engaging blend of physical challenge and mental acuity set against one of Denmark's most stunning coastal backdrops.
