About the Event

Running enthusiasts of all ages are invited to join Boghopper Races for an uplifting summer outing at Whitwell and Reepham Railway Station. In collaboration with Keeping Abreast, Breast Cancer Reconstruction Support Charity (Charity No. 1129522), this event offers a scenic route along the Marriott's Way and local footpaths, featuring both a 5km course suitable for all ages—though children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult—and a more challenging 10km option designed specifically for runners aged 15 and older.
Participants can choose between these two picturesque routes that wind through tranquil countryside landscapes. The event registration begins at 8:30 AM, with the race briefing starting promptly at 9:45 AM followed shortly by the start of both races at either 10:00 or 10:05 AM.
Every finisher will receive a commemorative medal as a token of their achievement. The event also includes refreshments available throughout and ample parking for just £2 per vehicle, with proceeds going to support the Whitwell and Reepham Preservation Society.
This race is not only about crossing the finish line but also contributing positively through fundraising efforts in aid of Keeping Abreast Breast Cancer Reconstruction Support Charity. Additionally, all donations are welcomed on the day.
Licensed by the Association of Running Clubs (ARC) under UK Athletics Rules with Permit Number ARC 26/0143, this event prioritizes a fun and supportive atmosphere over competitive timing to maximize charitable contributions.
