We have some amazing trails in the Boise area and the 50 Mile hits all of the favorites! If you're ready for a challenging and fun 50 Mile trail run come join us! This event also includes a 50K and a 27K! All three courses start and finish at Fort Boise parking lot in the lower Foothills and showcase our great trails! Check out the website for a written course directions and elevation map. 50 Mile Reign of Pain is back! The first male and female runners to get to the aid station at Bogus Road for the 50Mile race gets $100! *You must finish the race to be eligible for the cash!* The 50 Mile course winds it's way from the lower foothills up to Sweet Connie/Eastside then over to Shingle Creek and back using some of the most beautiful trails in the state. The 50 Mile has an elevation gain of approximately 7,680 feet. The 50 Mile has 2 cutoffs, they are both hard cutoffs. The first is approx mile 24 - Bogus Rd Aid Station at 1PM and the 2nd is approx mile 43.75 - 8th Street/Motorcycle Parking Aid Station at 5PM. 50K The 50K course gives area ultrarunners a close-to-home venue for a trail ultra and showcases the tremendous natural resources of the Boise foothills. The 50K has a cutoff at mile 22 aid station at 2pm and an elevation gain of approximately 4688 feet. 27K The 27K is an out and back on the 50M and 50K courses. This will be great for spectator viewing and cheering! The 27K has an elevation gain of approximately 2354 feet.. All courses include multiple uphill and downhill sections. The terrain is of moderate difficulty, providing a challenge to runners, but not too hard for first-timers. This is a green race so you will need to bring a collapsible cup for the aid stations. Be sure to get signed up by September 14th to be guaranteed race schwag! No refunds will be provided, including in the event of a cancellation outside of the organizers control. No pacers are allowed.. Packet Pickup is Thursday September 24th from 10-6 and Friday September 25th from 10-2 at Idaho Running Company in Boise. You can also pick up your packet at the race 1 hour before your race start time. Same day registration WILL BE available.
