Border Bolt Running Festival

Experience the exhilarating return of Wild Earth’s ‘Border Bolt’ race this year. Four distance options cater to runners of all levels: 6.6km, 13.5km, 22km, and the grueling 31km. Each route progressively increases in trail running elements, with more challenging terrain as you venture further. The shortest option is a smooth pavement journey; for those seeking adventure, the longer distances offer an abundance of trails and hills that culminate in the legendary Strawberry Hill.
The ‘Border Bolt’ race also forms part of Wild Earth’s Trail Trips Triple Crown series alongside two other events: 'In the Raw' on May 31, 2026, and the flagship event, Wild Earth Coastal High on August 29, 2026. Participate in all three races to claim a complimentary backpack valued at over $100.
For those seeking multiple challenges, there are Short Course and Long Course series options available. The ‘Border Bolt’ 22km is the perfect entry point, paired with the 15km 'In the Raw' event; for more seasoned runners, the Long Course Series requires completion of the 31km at the Bolt, a 25km run at 'In the Raw', and the grueling Wild Earth Coastal High 50km in August.
